Is downloading Telegram from this station really free?

Which platforms can I install Telegram on?
Windows 10 and 11, macOS 10.15+, iOS 15+ (iPhone and iPad), Android 6.0+, plus Telegram Web in any modern browser. All five options have their own dedicated download page on this station.
How safe are the installers linked here?
The Windows .exe and Android .apk go through the dl-loading.top mirror which serves the same signed binaries Telegram publishes. macOS opens the official macos.telegram.org page and iOS opens the App Store, so those two flows never leave Apple- or Telegram-controlled hosts.
Can I use one account on my phone and my laptop at the same time?
Yes. Telegram supports up to ten simultaneous sessions per account and mirrors every cloud chat across all of them, so you can move between phone, tablet, Windows, macOS and Web without losing context.
What is the difference between cloud chats and Secret Chats?
Cloud chats live on Telegram servers (encrypted at rest and in transit) so they sync everywhere. Secret Chats are end-to-end encrypted between two specific devices, cannot be forwarded and support self-destruct timers.
Do I need to install anything for Telegram Web?
No. Telegram Web is a full browser client - open the Web download page, click Open Telegram Web, and it launches in a new tab. It runs fine on Chromebook, Linux and locked-down office machines.
How do I move Telegram from an old phone to a new one?
Because Telegram stores chats in the cloud, you only need to install Telegram on the new phone and sign in with the same number. Cloud history downloads automatically. Only Secret Chats stay bound to the original device.
How much bandwidth does Telegram use per day?
For text-heavy usage, expect roughly 20 to 50 MB per day. Media auto-download can be limited per network in Data and Storage settings on every mobile client.
